Druid Hills Golf Club is looking for an exceptional P.M. Pastry Cook to be a part of our team!
Seeking an experienced pastry cook to perform duties such as assisting the Pastry Chef in the development of new desserts, pastry and bread products. This is primarily a P.M. (second shift) position, but will require the ability to work a flexible schedule as business demands. This position requires experience in a high volume, scratch, upscale pastry department. 2-3 years’ recent proven experience preferred. Ensures that all food products prepared meet the established specifications and standards. You will provide superior quality food while maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment.
Must be able to speak, read and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, squat, stretch and frequently lift up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive hand motions, and tolerate working in environments of extreme temperatures. Frequent and continuous walking and standing are required throughout the working day. Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time. All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per company standards.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the club, including weekends and holidays. Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Druid Hills Golf Clubs rules and regulations. In addition to specific job requirements, candidates must have a positive attitude and be willing to provide service which exceeds our members' expectations.
