Member Pricing
All merchandise is marked with a "retail price" and a "member price." As a member of Druid Hills Golf Club, you will always pay less than retail from our pro shop. Apparel is marked down significantly for you and our equipment is all price matched from local and online competitors.
Racquets
Pro’s Choice of racquets from major tennis racquet brands for easier member selection. All racquets in stock are carefully selected by our professional staff with our members in mind. If it’s not a right racquet for our members, it’s not on our wall! Prior to purchase, members can demo up to three racquets at a time. The price of the demo is placed on the member’s account which is removed when the demo racquet is returned.
Racquet Stringing
- Members receive free first-time stringing upon the purchase of a racquet from our pro shop
- 24 hour racquet stringing service. Members are emailed upon stringing completion.
- Professional staff selects only the highest quality and most beneficial strings that fall into four basic categories:
- Multifilament: the softest, most forgiving strings offering the very best in playability, control and power.
- Mid-Level Synthetic Gut: for those that want performance on a budget, a mid-level string offers overall satisfactory performance and comfort.
- Synthetic Gut: basically low playability and virtually no durability but it comes in a variety of colors that the kids really enjoy!
- Polyester: a very dense, stiff string that is made for durability to help hard hitters get through matches. The "Druid Hills Hybrid" is quite popular where we take a polyester and combine it with a multifilament for a balance of comfort, control, and durability.
Junior Racquets & Balls
We offer the complete junior tennis equipment pathway:
- Ages 3 – 5 years: 17" to 19" racquets
- Ages 6 – 8 years: 19" to 23" racquets and "red" balls that bounce 75% less and travel through the air 75% less than a regulation tennis ball.
- Ages 9 – 10: 23" to 25" racquets and "orange" balls that bounce 50% less and travel through the air 50% less than a regulation tennis ball.
- Ages 11 – 12: 26" to 27" lightweight racquets and "green dot" balls that bounce 25% less and travel through the air 25% less than a regulation tennis ball.
- Ages 13 and up: this age player should be playing with regular "yellow" tennis balls and using a full length (27") adult size racquet.
Footwear
We take the best in comfort and performance while also offering members diversity of style and color from the most reputable brands in tennis footwear such as Nike, Babolat, Head, Prince, Wilson.
Headwear
We offer sunglasses for any budget; from the "good pair on the go" frames from Tifosi to those that want more trend from the likes of Maui Jim and Oakley. Our shop is filled from hats and caps of various styles and colors; all embroidered to showcase your club pride in a variety of ways.
Apparel
- Women are offered a diversity of apparel from the sport’s most popular brands to the classy and casual from special lines only our merchandiser knows about!
- Men can find versatility in our pro shop offerings; apparel that can easily be worn on the courts, on the course, or even to afternoon or dinner event!
Bags
The personality of player you are can most likely be found in a style of bag we carry; healthy selections of racquet backpacks and racquet bags as well as designer bags and totes; members can even special order their desired pattern!
Special Orders
Sometimes things just don’t quite fit or maybe we’ve sold out of your size or desired color. If that is the case, we have a shop attendant waiting to take your request and get what you want into your hands. Special Orders are a part of our customer service!
